Hello, I'm Sarah 🌸
A reflective soul with a curious heart and a hopeful spirit, typing to you from a small island in the middle of the Irish Sea.
I live on the Isle of Man, which means I get a lot of weather and a lot of sky and a lot of time to think. By day I work in business development. By every other hour I am a writer, quietly obsessed with one question: what happens to human purpose in an age of clever machines?
I write a weekly essay series called Sarah Seeking Ikigai. It has grown to more than 128 essays now, which still surprises me. Each one is a small attempt to wander thoughtfully toward something better, without losing my sense of wonder along the way.

My type, if you're curious
I am an Explorer at heart, with a dash of the Innocent. An introvert who reflects, observes, and distils before responding. Feeling-led, values-first, people before tasks. If you like the colour-coded personality tests, I am a fairly thorough Green: caring, steady, purpose-driven. None of which is very rock-and-roll, but it is honestly me.
Things I believe, more or less
That contradictions are allowed... you can love technology and worry about it in the same breath. That the small and the ordinary is where meaning actually hides. That kindness is not soft, it is the whole point. That a handmade website is worth more than a polished feed. And that the best ideas, like the best gardens, are grown slowly and never quite finished.
You don't just share a message. You open a path.
